another kind of story

Over the years, I came to believe that the best celebrations don't follow trends. They reflect the people at the heart of them. They honor the story, the place, and the moment, leaving room for laughter, quiet pauses, imperfect beauty, genuine connection, and the memories that linger long after the gathering ends.

That belief eventually led to the creation of Another Kind of Story. A name inspired by the idea that every celebration has its own narrative, and that no two should ever feel the same.

After years of calling Lake Atitlán home, I've been continually inspired by its natural beauty, rich culture, and slower rhythm of life. Working alongside retreat leaders, couples, and hosts from around the world, I've witnessed firsthand how meaningful gatherings bring people together and create lasting connections. These experiences continue to shape the way I approach every celebration, encouraging a deeper connection to place, community, and experience.

Whether planning an intimate destination wedding, elopement, retreat, or gathering, my role is to guide the process with intention and clarity, helping bring together each element in a way that feels thoughtful and reflects each client's vision. More than creating beautiful celebrations, my hope is to create experiences that allow people to slow down, connect, and fully embrace the moments that matter most.

If you're planning a celebration in Lake Atitlán and what you've found here resonates with you, we'd love to hear more about your story.
