Over the years, I came to believe that the best celebrations don't follow trends. They reflect the people at the heart of them. They honor the story, the place, and the moment, leaving room for laughter, quiet pauses, imperfect beauty, genuine connection, and the memories that linger long after the gathering ends.

That belief eventually led to the creation of Another Kind of Story, a name inspired by the idea that every celebration has its own narrative, and that no two should ever feel the same.

With a background in event planning, hospitality, and retreat operations, I bring a practical understanding of what it takes to bring an event together, while remaining attentive to the details that makes it special. My approach is thoughtful and hands-on, balancing the logistics behind the scenes with the atmosphere, design, and overall experience.

Living in Lake Atitlán has shaped the way I work as well. I value the character of each place and the way it can naturally become part of a celebration, from the setting and local surroundings to the details that connect it to where it takes place.
